The partners under the project “TRIP-tourism and religion-integrated people” (No CB 005.2.23.056), funded under the Interreg-IPA cross-border programme Bulgaria – Turkey 2014 – 2020, District Governorship Suloglu, Turkey and Yambol chamber of commerce and industry, Bulgaria, completed one of the most interesting project activities.

A photo collection of photos of 10 sites ( from each country) from the region of Yambol, Bulgaria and Suloglu-Edirne, Turkey was created, presenting interesting examples of the religious and cultural heritage of the two regions, separated by the border, which would provoke the interest of tourists visiting the cross-border region. The photo collection includes a total of 20 photos, which are prepared in printed format and for which the project provides exhibition equipment. The photo exhibition includes sites such as churches and mosques, as well as religious holidays and customs from Bulgaria and Turkey, which are accompanied by interesting and attractive traditions. The project envisages the realization of two international events, one in Yambol, Bulgaria and one in Suloglu, Turkey, to organize an exhibition including 20 photographs (10 from the region of Yambol, Bulgaria and 10 from the region of Suloglu, Turkey) and thus, to attract the attention and interest of potential tourists, to visit the photographed sites of religious cultural heritage in the cross-border region of Yambol-Suloglu.
