The main goal of the project: to raise awareness of producers and traders about EU standards in one of the main branches of business in Bulgaria and the Yambol region – extraction and production of edible oils and food products, their packaging and trade. EU standards regarding the requirements for quality and environmental friendliness of goods in this industry, their safety and health, including in production and packaging technologies. The project will present the main documents setting EU standards, the meaning and consequences, investments and deadlines for implementation, as well as the possibilities of European funds to finance their implementation.
