A multilingual and free online platform for business consultants <\/strong><\/h3>\n

The mindthedata project -funded by the Erasmus+ Programme of the European Union – and its partnership are presenting the mindthedata training platform. Its purpose is to provide business consultants with detailed and well-documented knowledge of various aspects regarding GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation), which in turn they can directly use in supporting SMEs to become and remain GDPR compliant, and more importantly, understand the benefits of a data protection company culture!<\/p>\n

The training material is presented along 3 Modules which are available in English, Bulgarian, Greek, Polish and Spanish<\/strong>. The Modules include both theoretical and practical, applicable content.<\/p>\n

The Modules<\/strong><\/p>\n

Module 1: Understanding Personal Data And GDPR<\/strong><\/p>\n

What is it about<\/u>: Getting into the dynamics of the GDPR, understand the challenge, and developing a deeper understanding on why GDPR compliance is crucial\/ important and at the same time challenging for the EU digital economy and society.<\/p>\n

5 Units, 8 tests for checking your knowledge, one dedicated Unit for further reading and resources<\/em><\/p>\n

Module 2: GDPR And My SME<\/strong><\/p>\n

What is it about<\/u>: Understanding the role of GDPR in EU digital transformation and economy. How can the situation of an SME assessed in relation to GDPR? What steps are needed to assure GDPR compliance? How are everyday activities and operations affected?<\/p>\n

5 Units, 8 tests for checking your knowledge, one dedicated Unit for further reading and resources<\/em><\/p>\n

Module 3: GDPR ‘Beyond Compliance’<\/strong><\/p>\n

What is it about<\/u>: Business consultant can find here material and ideas to help them work with company owners, managers, company personnel, and explore together how GDPR compliance and the changes it brings can lead to business innovation, and function as a competitive advantage and a customer engagement tool.<\/p>\n

Testing and improving<\/strong><\/p>\n

We have already started our testing process, giving the opportunity to more than 40 business consultants in four countries to go through the platform, use it in full, and share with us their opinion! Our testing process will last until mid September approximately and the results will help us in optimizing the mindthedata platform according to suggestions and feedback. A report on our findings will be published and also included in the mindthedata Handbook for consultants<\/strong> which we are also preparing to be publicly available in late September.<\/p>\n
