Duration: 12 months (2013 – 2014)

The main goal of the project: to achieve an active exchange of information, experience and educational practices between women entrepreneurs and their enterprises, additional, continuous educational and practical lifelong learning, to achieve economic and social prosperity in the cross-border region, based on research, analysis and assessment of the state of the level of equality and activity of women in business, production and services, development of a plan – strategy for development of priorities and activities related to entrepreneurship and business of women, for activation and expansion of women’s employment in more a wide range of professions to improve competitiveness allowing a higher standard of living in the cross-border region.

 

The specific objectives of the project are aimed at:

  • research of the state, potential, opportunities and needs for development, consultation, information and subsequent up-to-date training and exchange of experience of women entrepreneurs and women holding key positions and positions in the public institutions of the cross-border region;
  • providing conditions for cross-border transfer of regional and European experience and knowledge of activities related to women’s entrepreneurship, trends in the global and European market, the requirements of European and international trade, customs and transport regime, opportunities for free movement of people, goods, finance and services throughout the united Europe.
  • Creation and use of effective forms and tools for basic business training and exchange of information between women entrepreneurs and SMEs managed by them.
  • Improving the awareness of the population of the cross-border region about the opportunities and equality of women’s entrepreneurship and its role in achieving economic and social prosperity in the cross-border region;
  • Creating added value in the sector of women’s entrepreneurship;
  • Building specific skills in women entrepreneurs from the cross-border region to build partnerships in the context of globalization and European enlargement;
